Google new feature - sidebar, social sharing, g.co short links

I don't know when did they implement these features but I just noticed now. Google search is trying to reach more people. They have added the following features:
Sidebar on the left to directly choose snippets


Social sharing and g.co short links


I would love to find more opportunities to promote my brand. I'm sure there are a few ways to take advantage of these features. What do you guys think?
