Google Indexing Issue

Hello guys, I have a money site that is 4 years old. I used to do many on-page changes on my homepage and keep reindexing my site so that google can crawl and reindex my updated home page. A few months back everything was working fine whenever I used to reindex an index page it uses to reindex the page within a minute, but nowadays when I am trying to reindex my pages it is taking more than 4 to 6 days. Does anyone else have the same issue? Also, let me know if there is any solution to it.

Nope, I have the same issue with my sites, You just need to be a little aggressive with pings and index requests. I think almost everyone has an indexing issue right now. or Maybe increase your site authority with more links.

Is this an official google issue? or only a few platforms are facing this issue?
 
I want to know from others as well, Is there anyone else whose site doesn't have any indexing issue?
 
I thinks something happening from this few days. GSC stop update 41 hours ago.

This goes back to last year in the Fall they pulled the indexing request..and basically fixed it for super high DR sites and pulled it for anyone else, I saw 80% loss in impressions, and it's been flat every since...basically its some type of silent indexing filter for "less than worthy" sites- whats ur DR...i can see some DR 80's sites index a boatload of content indexed same day at 100% and the content they plug sucks-100 word pages one junk image and because of their DR its gold

The indexing request doesn't work.. it's like a button attached to nothing...last year-good pages- would index in SERPS instantly upon request now it seems after it was "fixed" requesting indexing actually stop the page from being indexed. You have to assume anything you hear is the opposite.

be careful on your asking google to reindex your page through google search console. over the last few month, i have found a direct correlation of asking google to reindex vs ranking going down.

i am pretty sure google has a anti-seo algorithm in place now, and this is part of it.

Google is getting worst and worst day by day.
 
Add content. It helps in my experience....new content the far cars take notice.
 
After you post an article just resubmit your sitemap, you will get results quicker.
 
You shouldn't ask Google to manually reindex your main domain, it could lead the opposite that you would like to do.

This could be related to the crawling budget if your website has tons of pages. How many pages your website has?
