google images

I have a new image blog that was created about a week ago, I'm getting about 200 hits a day so far from google, but I've noticed that almost all of the searches that come from google images link to the homepage and not the post.

Is there a way I can make it so image searched lead to the post and not the homepage?

It's in the post and the posts are also displayed on the homepage. So both.

I would put up a couple of more posts until the post with a picture drops off the homepage.

Nayer,

Are you sure all of your posts are getting indexed? Have you submitted your site to webmaster tools? If you do, you can submit the main website URL and all linked pages. Just log in an select health and fetch as google. It may also take some time for these pages to show up in SERP's.

All my posts are indexed and I have submitted my site to webmaster tools. If it helps my blog is amazingselfshots dot com it is NSFW.

Do you have all image tags likes alt tag, descriptions and etc. ? Also wordpress have a plugin that redirect at the moment when the visitor open your image from google images to your site.

I use the alt tags, title, and caption. Don't have that plugin but all that would is take them to the homepage as that is where the image is, I want image searches to look at the post and not the homepage. So that when people search google images they go to a page that still has the image.
