Google.business.site and GSA/Scrapebox

Question about. Google.business sites that come with a GMB…

Obviously optimised the right way can provide some decent whitehat linking back to your business moneysite.

What’s the situation regarding building back links to the Google site using tools such as GSA and Scrapebox? Links would be filtered for contextual but would you be likely to see harsh penalties in rankings, and impact on moneysite rankings?

Am not sure in a tier structure how a google.business site is perceived in search engines. T1?

I see people firing all sorts of backlinks to their GMB pages, anything between guestbook spam to PR and guest posts. Unless you get most of your business through the page, I would treat it as a T1 or a parasite. Just make sure you get the correct full url for the page before building links to it, I think you get it from Info > View on Search IIRC.
