hey I have a few auto blog sites churning out about 5 articles a day producing about 200 new pages a week. they were all indexed up to a week or two ago until........the sub pages were almost all deindexed! the main url is still there so i'm not banned, but the subs are disappearing. any ideas? is it Gs new algo. or the sheer fact that the sites republishing content in mass? any ideas? should I hide my wp plugins folder? is the world still flat? im confused.

is it Gs new algo

I'm pretty sure you will find it is the new algo as it seems to have hit auto blogs and content farms pretty hard.

Panda doesn't deindex, just devalues. Just wait it out a little and see if it comes back.

I have one autoblog site that has 1900 pages showing indexed but it doesn't rank very well for what is really not a very competitive keyword and I am also using an exact match domain.. ha sbeen stumping me for a while

how do you monetize an autoblog? i have a 1 mth old semi-auto blog on entertainment and on avg 10 hits from google and 50 page views per day. i use adsense but till now only 1 clicks.

Create a separate thread for this for people to help you out.

This happens to my autoblogs too sometimes.
All the posts get de-indexed but the pages stay indexed.
They get indexed after manually re-submitting my sitemap.

Right now I changed the WP settings that notified google every time changes are made to my sitemap. So now there is no more notifying google when my sitemap changes, google finds this itself and my posts doesnt get de-indexed (it probably looks less spammy)

So when did google hitting autoblogs start? I was just about to set some up.

A lot of autoblogs are actually doing better after Panda. Specifically ones with straight up copied content. I'd be hesitant to use any translated content just because of a potential grammar flag, but I'm not running any so I don't know for sure.

if not indexed then try to make ur permalinks .html , hope it helps.

I still have scraper sites that are doing well. 100% dupe content, 300 pages added every week and google is all over it like white on rice. I got severl thousand pages indexed and they pass some nice link juice. Just put a sitewide link to a client site from a scraper with 1500 indexed pages. The site went from bottom of page 2 up to 5th position first page in google, overnight. Has been holding strong all week. I love my scraper sites. Just make sure they look legit. also I don't run ads on my scrapers. use them purely for link juice.

Translated content is working great. :) Especially English -> French / German / Spanish -> English.

I don't really see how could they penalize for grammar with all the virtually illiterate shit you see around on the internet... eg Youtube comments lol. :D

Are you sure they are de-indexed?

Don't rely on GWT it's been a mess lately.

Excellent point with the youtube comments. There was some speculation about grammar with the update before Panda but I don't even know what that ended up changing.

wow I read the stuff you guys are saying, this sucks I guess it is back to original content..

my bro made a rap site (he likes his music stuff) he was doing good but now nothing is indexed. He was scraping(auto blogging) from a few popular rap blogs just to re-up content and make his site seem more relevant, all his pages except the main url are gone. do you guys think its the sand box???

Ill do this and see what happens

my autoblogs are doing well still. frequently indexed, banging out about 200-300 new pages a week on each site. most are 2000 plus pages and up. they stay at about 90% - 95% indexed.
