Hi guys,

I’ve been running Google Ads for my SMM business for almost two years without any issues. But recently, like 90% of my competitors, I’ve started running into problems — my ads are now being flagged for "Enabling dishonest behavior“, it seems like google got stricter with this.

At first, I was still able to copy and paste the same ads, and they’d run for around 24 hours before getting blocked again.
After doing that for about two weeks, my account received a warning.

That’s when I started looking into cloaking as a potential solution.

But there are still many questions popping up:
  • What’s the best cloaking tool in 2025?
  • Can I still use my old ad account or campaigns, considering they’ve collected data from over 10k conversions?
  • Can I still show my old domain in the ad?
  • Is it possible to use Google Ads conversion tracking while cloaking?
  • Is there any way to test whether a competitor is using cloaking — besides just switching the user agent to Googlebot?
  • Is there any alternative to cloaking?
Any tips or insights are appreciated!

Hello.

First of all, you can search for many cloaker services on the forum. If your old account is not blocked, you can use it with a new site. I recommend that you do not use the old domain again.

You can check the conversions on the cloaker site. For this, you will need to make some changes in the tag manager.

If you can guess the filters your competitor uses, you can test whether they use cloaker or not. They may also be using the referrer feature. In this way, they may only show black content to those who come from Google.

So, if you’re using cloaking, does that mean you can’t use conversion-based bidding strategies in Google Ads?

Could you provide more information about the referrer feature?
I noticed that when I visit some of my competitors’ websites using the Googlebot user agent, they block the request using Cloudflare.

Could this be a basic form of cloaking — simply blocking all Googlebot traffic from accessing the site?

No, you can use it. However, you need to make a good setup. You should install Tag Manager on the black site and connect the conversions to the ads account through it. But there are problems like this: Google can detect the black site. It can close your ad account. Therefore, you should make a good setting in Tag Manager.

The referrer feature is a system where only those who click on Google ads, that is, those who enter Google and search and click from there, can see the black site. Even if you change the user agent, cloudflare will understand. You should try different methods.

Hello,
Same here recently.
I was running a follower purchase service and initially started experiencing ad rejections due to the “enabling dishonest behavior” policy. After some time, our account was suspended for circumventing systems.

We were spending 50K / month. looking for a stable solution. (at least 6 months)

But there are still many questions popping up:

I will try to give insights from my personal experience:

1. I think adspect is probably the best cloaking tool out there right now (only taking public ones into consideration), but I would not bet all in or say something like with this cloaking moderators will never be able to figure out whats going on, you have to realize platforms like Google are investing more money into security than all of the cloaking services combined into updates, so it requires a lot of trial and error and even if you do everything correctly, there is a good chance ad will be banned within few weeks, I only recommend cloaking for business who can make a lot of money in a short time frame and they can afford to switch everything every other week or so

2. You can use old ad account if its not suspended, it might even be beneficial as its considered warmed up so likeliness of your ads getting approved is much higher, if you however hold valuable data on that ad account, you should only use it for cloaking if you are ready to lose it and its worth for you trying, otherwise I would use new ad accounts to test your cloaking strategies to check if its even worth the hassle, for such ad account its not a problem if you make a mistake in your ad, they will disapprove it and let you continue advertising as long as you are not doing it constantly, with cloaking they will suspend it immediately as there is no way for you to explain you are not deliberately breaking their terms

3. Yes, with no-redirect cloaking its just a content of the site that changes for moderators and regular users, not domain itself, its important to have everything setup properly and strictly, its better to show whitepage to couple real users rather than showing blackpage to google bot/mod

4. No, google can not have any access to blackpage, it might be possible with some high level setup of the whitepage which copies links and everything same as on blackpage, but never tried it so can not speak from experience, basically if it triggers conversion just by loading url with xxxxx.com/order-placed then it should be possible if both your blackpage and whitepage look like a shop, just showing different items

5. Just use VPN or Proxy to go on their site via google ad, most of the cloakers restrict VPN/proxy users from seeing blackpage as its too risky

6. Alternative is to run ads that are compliant with google ads policies, back in a day it was possible to run ad for "informational blog" which redirected users to your site, but im pretty sure this is not doable anymore.

Important thing to remember when running blackhat ads - once your account gets suspended, consider everything you used dead - payment method, domain, whitepage. You need to do it compeltely froma scratch, no CTRL C + CTRL V, because that will lead to ban on your next ad account even before your ad goes through review and gets approved

Hope I helped answering some of your questions.

- JCI being the best cloaker but a lot of other cheaper optiopns avaible in the market
- Moving over to agency account is better since your account will get banned once you implement cloaking
- No once you implement cloaking you would have to use a new domain each time
- No chances of bans are higher with conversion tracking to your money site
- Use VPN to check this

How can i contact with you?

Cloaking can help short-term, but it’s risky long-term. Use fresh accounts and domains if flagged. Yes, you can track conversions while cloaking with the right setup. Tools like NoIPFraud, Fraudbuster, and Keitaro are solid in 2025. Testing others’ cloaking? Try VPNs, user agents, and referrer spoofing. As for alternatives—try native ads or SEO if you want less risk.

Yes, Cloaker is the best solution for running Google Ads campaigns without getting your account flagged or banned.

Just be careful to not use some sketchy cloaker on a good account, if you don't have experience. If possible, try to set-up a cloaker on another account and see if your campaign can run for some hours at least. A bad cloaker can insta-ban your account.
