Godaddy webhost support is a Joke

I'm just being more and more frustrated with Godaddy.
Few days ago they were not co-operating with solving the server issue that my client had (He is a high paying customer).

And now this. I contacted support for one of the wordpress issue - Couldn't upload media files through Dashboard > Media > Add files.
Support recommended me to upload files through filezilla which is good way - acc. to them.
I insisted that it's not convenient and then he came again with - he couldn't see wordpress installed in the server.. My domain is not connected to host etc

I was like what.. Is this really happening.

After going to/fro with the support I was finally able to solve the issue though.

Their hosting service is already a joke. Why choose godaddy? Why not hostgator or others?
 
i had some troubles with hostinger, they do what they want without more explanation, got a domain blocked for a while and need to ask ICANN to control it again.
 
Lol tried godaddylong time ago.... Not just the support is worse but they have the worse hosting + domain prices... Right now am on JustHost (eHost, [BLUEHOST]) So far they are really fast with support and hosting services i didn't have any issues with them.
 
Highly recommend that you go with a webhost that has fast live chat like Namecheap, JustHost, InmotionHosting etc. as it will save you lots of headaches
 
Godaddy is pretty good for domain only but for hosting it's a pain in ass. You need to figure out everything by yourself. Sometimes you mess with a wrong person which isn't even able to understand your problem. Also in your case I think the man taking your case wasn't even aware about the complete functionality of Wordpress. Instead go for other hosting provider. In my case bluehost works best for me.
 
mmm I always don't trust them when it comes to hosting they are just not great on that part.
 
I buy hosting for 1 year from them, contact with the support for 10 minutes and after that change my hosting and never again Godaddy !!!
 
Just two seconds of research is all you would have needed before purchasing Godaddy hosting.
 
hahaha. This company gets trashed here almost every month. Service, support etc. is just garbage quality. They are leaders only in domain registration and that too is being captured by namecheap. Hopefully they die sooner than later.
 
i left godaddy for namecheap a long time ago

namecheap has lightning fast chat support
 
I no longer recommend Godaddy to anyone.
It's just that few of the client that I work with are already there and do not want to make the effort to move away.
