Godaddy Is Scamming Us?

3 hours ago I also got a call from them but I havenot picked it up.. I assume its for the same reason. I have put fake details on my domain so if they asked for photo verification. I may loose my domain because I don't have any I'd verification for fake details

So now Godaddy will ask ID for every domain of an account? That is not cool, imagine people register tons of PBN domains and they have to use same personal info on them lol.

Is it hard to provide the verification they are asking for? What TLD did you purchase? Some TLDs ask for additional info.

TLD was .com and yes I did upload a scanned copy of passport and also i do not have access to my account, they asked me to wait for 72 hours let's see, will update here soon.

Got few dozen domains with godaddy and never had an issue with them.

Good luck then. I can't talk about GoDaddy, but with other domain registrars, for me, it was really easy and fast to verify my identity.TLD was .com and yes I did upload a scanned copy of passport and also i do not have access to my account, they asked me to wait for 72 hours let's see, will update here soon.
