What tool or resource do you rely on most for competitor research, and how has it helped you uncover insights or make better strategic decisions in your day-to-day work?

I continue to evaluate between Ahrefs and manual SERP stalking for my analysis. The tools detect patterns but the true insights emerge when you analyze competitors' web pages and their link structures and content updates.

The majority of victories resulted from implementing successful strategies at the beginning of their emergence before competitors became aware of them.

Ahrefs and semrush are still the go to tools for competition research. Ahrefs gives you more and accurate data but is expansive compared to semrush.

Sometimes I wonder how we survived without any tools back then… pure guesswork and a lot of spreadsheets lol

But Ahrefs is good
