Hopefully some say if it’s digital you won’t win and others say if it is digital it’s easier to win. But will will see.

NEVER send money via Friends & Family to an unknown person. If the person asks you that, it's certain that you will be scammed.

Does paypal guarantee a refund if you got scammed and didn't send via friends and family?

We will have to see PayPal can sometimes turn in to gaypal and that does not help.

That's not always the case but you are right.NEVER send money via Friends & Family to an unknown person. If the person asks you that, it's certain that you will be scammed.

I have sent money via Friends & Family and all went well.
But he was Jr. VIP member so I thought WTF go ahead...

PayPal usually takes in consideration all the facts you have. Good for you that you have a screenshot of your dialogue. It's too easy these days to pay money for nothing, there are too many scammers on the net. So next time check if they're registered on some websites where you can see their history of selling something if it's possible. But even then you can't be sure that you wont' be betrayed. Anyway good luck in your story!
