Getting new connections through referrals

I have lots of brands who are still working with me or not working, but the point is, that no one of them are sharing their friends contacts for free.
What u guys can suggest from your experience for brands/clients to make them bring referrals and motivate them to do it
Except basic percentage from deal or money of course
