Geotagging all the pictures that I take?

Is it really worth it with the phone and the GPS for the locale? I am taking a boatload of pictures on every site and proposal I do, I am just trying to maximize my return before I post them on my site. Does it work even better for G Local with the tagging of the pics?

I've never tested this, but have you tried adding them to Panoramio? You could request attribution to your website and get tons of links from these photos.

I've never tested w/ and w/ out. Just always done w/. In fact, what we do is mark up the img meta date while it is on our computers, and then when we upload it, mark it up again on the platform (Wordpress, Panaramio, Flickr, whatever.

I think every bit counts. It's just another thing my or my client's lazy competitors generally aren't going to do, and it isn't a big time suck, so no bigs.

If you're interested, I'll ask my guys what they are using on their desktop to do this (there is a piece of software), and send along the name of it. Let me know.

You can geotag images using Picasa desktop - we do the same as BlueSteele - geo tag offline and then again when it is uploaded.
