So actually I added links to all my older accounts (they still are only a week old), and half of them are now banned :(

it's only been a week's worth of work but I don't want to make the same mistakes again. Is IG checking through my pre-lander to see the OG Ads landing page, and then blacklisting my account because of that? I know they already blacklisted OGAds LP's if you link it directly but I thought a pre-lander would stop that.

Anyways - is it always bad that I add links 1 week after the accounts are created? I thought you just needed to warm up for a week in order to use the accounts. Or does IG simply operate based on a flagging system, and if you exceed a certain amount of flags to your account - your account gets perma-banned?

UGH SO MUCH STUFF!! xD

Tl;dr - do you guys think IG bans my accounts because of the content in my links, or just because I put the links themselves?

Just added information - these accounts have definitely been through some stuff this past week tho.
I bought all of them non-PVA and had to PVA all them manually, and some had to go through PVA twice.

I'm guessing some of that had raised red flags over my accounts - but I didn't think they would just outright ban me for that shit. :(

yeah same here mate,i tried to use 2 weeks old, warmed them up for 5 days, but when i added link about 40% got 'account disabled' and after a few minuites when i started following people, all the valid accounts turned to 'phone validation' and i just thrown them away. because i just give up on them, it wasted my 5 days and don't wanna waste any more than that.
i used 1 account = 1 domain, so i think domain wasn't the issue there or i just did something wrong.
now im using aged accounts and they're working fine for me at the moment, no issue or anything. just some password reset and a few phone validation every once in a few days.

Yes, it's not the issue in your case for sure, however OP haven't disclosed his number of accounts:domains ratio yet.

yea, would be awesome if people also share their issues so we can find the real problem.

It's working fine for me, at least, I create my own landing page.

OK. So at least to my understanding, this is how it works.

IG uses a flagging system to monitor your account. If you have suspicious activity, it adds one flag to your account

Here are things it might "flag" for:
1. Username,bio,link that have blacklisted words (free,giveaway)
2. Unusual follow/like/comment activity
3. Using a proxy
4. Literally adding any link to bio

Having a younger account will make it so these flags will be more consequential, therefore, only a few of these flags will cause a lockdown of your account.

For #4, I know from example that adding ANY link will cause you to get bad attention. I added a bit.ly that directed to google.com to one of my already "watched" accounts (it had gone through a lot of shit with IG already), and IG banned it a few hours later. ANY LINK WILL DO THAT

Moral of the story:
  • don't get flagged by instagram
  • try not using new accounts (buy aged 2+months) ... or sit on your new accounts for awhile
  • get better proxies
  • TAKE IT SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW - DON'T RUSH OR IG WILL WOOP UR ASS

Do you tested it for the #1? I really curious about that as well that the certain word might raise some flag.

My bios and my username have no blacklisted words. If i want to say something like "free" I would say "fr33" instead

Man I guess I'm lucky? I have one account that is about 2 months old, PV 2 times, changed link in bio like 12 times already lol. Maybe it's the way I used it? I started off putting link in bio after day 2, I followed like 50 people a day for a few days then got bored. After that I got unbored and hit it hard(manually following hundreds, unfollowing, etc every day). Still no problems.

I dont know if this problem deserves its own thread, but I made an account then got hit with the phone verification, then I tried to add the (textnow) number after, on the MP browser. The submit button doesnt do anything. Should I have added the number before all this came up? (like I know it wouldve)

I can see where I probably went wrong
added a bit.ly link to a maybe already tainted domain ( didnt keep track so I forgot)
added a pic and bio on the same day
started following and didnt let the account age
I used home IP

Im using subdomains under one paid domain. do the subdomain make a difference or do IG only see the root?

You probably need to add country code. So if you were in the US that would be +1
That's actually probably why couldn't click the button (I had the same issue and this is what I did)

TEXTNOW as I have heard though isn't great for PV

Ok just happened again - one of my already battered accounts just got banned for posting a link to google.com. However, even then it might have been banned because I used bit.ly or something. Idk

Definitely heed warning from what I said about IG flagging your accounts - I think my accounts just simply have too many strikes ;(

Well, why don't you just test with google.com without bit.ly? I think that's fine.
