Suppose, I got link from this forum signature and My site is about Photo Editing service. Does this will work for me?

It depends on the site: some put the links of signature in nofollow (which is how they should be), some in do follow.

You can get 500 backlinks from this, but only 1 referring domain.

In terms of power, can't say if it will work or not. Depends the niche, the overall quality of the page it's on. Google is great at catching low quality links and just not counting them.

First, prepare the list of niche related forums or forum close to your niche and then make a valuable post on the relevant thread and leave your website in Signature or in the posts where possible then such backlink will give your website a decent power. Otherwise, 500 links from non-relevant forums may trigger the red flags.
