Can anyone teach me how to login to vbulletin forums using curl?

Which values do I have to pass to login to the forum intporn?

I have tried using
vb_login_username
vb_login_password
vb_login_md5password
vb_login_md5password_utf
cookieuser=1
s=
do=login

I don't understand the difference between vb_login_md5password and vb_login_md5password_utf

I only need to learn how to login, not to post.
