I would go with oanda if you are serious about forex. For 'water testing' approach, choose any broker.
You can also try hotforex. They offer micro accounts, which are ideal for low budget trading.

Good luck with Forex. I tested the Forex waters about 5 years ago with $2k to just play with. Wow, that money went fast! :)

Before joining check their spreads . Leverage should not be higher than 1:400 . Instant withdrawal and deposits are supported by some brokers. You can get some insight here. seorg.net/2U

I think all the brokers you mentioned have good reputation in the market, just categorize your search. And as for the mt4, it is preferable in forex trading, as it has some very understandable features. And more to it is that it is user friendly, no wonder it is the platform most commonly used by Forex traders and Foreign exchange brokers.

I would recommend eToro but I never tried withdrawing from them personally yet. The good thing though is cause they have very low minimum startup deposit of $50. Which...if you are looking to dip your toes into currency trading then I think would be beneficial? They have practice accounts too. Only downside I've experienced with it is that the platform sometimes fucks up, or coughs. It happens pretty rarely though, once in awhile.

To add to what I have said before now, when narrowing our search for a broker we shouldn't only consider the platform they use, as all brokers virtually have such platform. We should consider more important factors like regulation etc, in looking for a broker, as the choice we make can determine the success we would have in the market....
This task has been made very easy, with review sites everywhere and forums like this where you can get info on a broker...choose wisely.
