Hi guys!

I am getting started with a little SEO project, and I need a little bit of basic help. I have a pretty decently configured HP server, where I want to run some bots.

I installed Hyper-V on it, and I created a couple of Windows 7 (Tiny7) VMs. I will be running various scraping bots and other things in these VMs, and I want to do it the right way...

I looked into buying some VPNs, and I found Windscribe (it's actually FREE), but it disconnects me sometimes. I am a little annoyed by that, since when it's disconnected, I "fear" that there will be network traffic without a VPN....I don't want that...
I also noticed that the scalability of the paid VPNs is not so good (meaning that there are a maximum of 10 connections for a paid account).

Then I started lurking the forums, and I noticed that a lot of people are talking about dedicated proxies. Would this be better for my use case?

Is it possible to assign a proxy to a VM, so that all communication towards the outside world from that VM is going through the proxy?
