Follower count blocked and not receiving notifications about new followers

Hi, Here is the problem I have on Instagram: For a week now, I've not received notifications about new followers only - I've well received those about new likes and comments. Furthermore, when I'm connecting on my IG account, I need to refresh the Activity Tab to see new followers/likes/comments - so these actions don't appear automatically anymore. When I'm receiving notifications about new followers and then refreshing my account (where all my posts are visible), the follower counter decreases! So for one week, I've got more than 100 new followers, but my follower counter seems to be blocked, fluctuating all the time. I still can follow other accounts and like posts. I've tried everything - uninstall/install the app,...- but nothing's changing. Can someone help me?

Yes, I did but nothing changed.

I guess it's a bug in the app. Is this fluctuating happening when you check the counter on ig's web interface in a browser? Check it while logged in and logged out.

Yes, it's the same. I think that the fact I don't receive any notification about new follower only is linked to the fact that the follower count stays at the same level (fluctuating). Do you recommend me sthg special to do? Thanks a lot in advance for your response in any case.
