Hello my fellow members.
I'm in a huge dilemma on weather to jump into the dropshipping boat or not. Is it still a good time or am I too late for the party.

I have been reading a lot about Shopify/Dropshipping lately and want to know if it's already saturated.

Thank you.

Go for it! Never be saturated, you could say that about anything. Shopify can be expensive, look at alternatives and compare first. Think of your profit margin. I wish you success for whatever you decide

Actually I think dropshipping business is seasonal just like any other business. there are seasons that you will have great sales, but there are also seasons that you totally get 0..

The analogy seems logical. But still, I feel like too many people are just blindely creating sites and spending money of Ads making it a saturated method.

Thank you. I'm giving it a shot now and hope my research and skills will show me some success.

If you know what you're doing anything is profitable.

Its not saturated yet and will never be. Market will always have new products to sellz new sellers and new buyers so its a never ending process. Though it will keep on getting competetive but at the same time new methods, strategies, products and innovations will be there.

Completely wrong, it depends on the niche. If you are in ladies fashion, you a just to seasons. So the big sites close out of season, no they don't

I have looked at it from that perspective, however at some point it has to be narrowed down to the ads spending and marketing. I've seen the same product with the exact same pricing and description which they did not even bother to change on multiple new website. However though, finding a unique product is the key.

As you mentioned yourself, finding unique products is the key. Actually I believe strategies play equally important role as products. Bad product good marketing or good product bad marketing both would lead to failure.

If you're looking for unique products, find a local company with no web presence and make yourself the official online supplier. If your product is unique enough and popular enough, you might even find your own site being the source for other dropshippers selling on other platforms.

It's profitable and it will always be profitable. It's just like having an actual store. You see that many stores around you to this day have survived, especially if they are specialized. Same can be applied to an online store.

If you don't want to spend money on Shopify, you can always get the free alternative which is WooCommerce. You will need to invest in domain and hosting but there's no way to start without that.
