First Experience Cold Calling... WENT GREAT!!

Smart move, make use of every resource you can. So long as you're upfront with your clients in that you're with a web dev team (for now) and that the portfolio represents you both/all. No need in being dishonest since they'll presume you're two birds of a feather presenting quality work. You can play that high school card all week, though; if there's one thing I learned from my very first sales job it's that EVERYONE wants to help the high school kid/graduate trying to earn money for college.

Great job mikey! I would jeer at you for getting MJ's jersey # wrong, but I'll give you +1 up for having balls and initiative enough to dive in the big leagues at the age he was riding the bench.
They all wanna help haha!! And you wanna know something, you're the first person to finally call me out on that! Its actually because I had an email a long time ago that was 23, but I lost the password and just made it 24 haha. I've been truly surprised that not one person online over the past years has ever brought it up lolol.

Don't hide the fact that you are 16. USE IT. Say "Hi I'm an aspiring young entrepeneur from xyz high school - I know something about computers and the internet and how you might use them more effectively in your business..." something like that.

People love ambitious, endearing "kids" - be humble but confident in your abilities. You'll do fine.

Older people think kids know everything about computers - just cuz we generally know more and they know nothing haha.

Use it to your advantage :)
