Fake Influencer

Hey Guys,

does anyone of you run a personal account in which he basically is a fake influencer?

With fake influencer, I mean someone who mostly uses panels to generate followers and likes, since recently I have the feeling that there are only fake influencers in the market.

If yes, what is the point in doing so?
Arent companies these days aware of how easy it is to get fake likes or are they just too dumb to understand because I am witnessing most of these Influencers cooperating with big companies etc.

Did you buy service from any influencer recently? There are always fake ones. But companies paying $$$ for such services, always test things before going for full buy.

The point of doing so is making money out of it.

You are right - the best companies will do their research and weed out the fake influencers. But there are always a few who will bite if you have the right approach. I think this is a very interesting concept OP.

I was dropshipping a while back and had a store about puppies, to keep it short: I didn't really have the knowledge back then to sort out the real pages from the fake ones and I ended up paying for nearly nothing. And to this day these Instagram pages still post at least one shoutout per day.

I think if you set it up the right way, you could even start a youtube channel and fake everything, likes, views comment, and all that stuff, start an Instagram page (fake everything there as well, to get the social proof you need and then use the mother-child method to get organic reach.

In Germany there is a rapper which pretty much went viral, he is getting accused of buying views on instagram youtube, etc. but no one could prove that he is a fake and now he is pretty much one of the most famous rappers here in Germany, and all the kids know his name, he got bank and it all started with faking it.

So I think that "fake it till you make it" is indeed something which could work wonders, not only for companies but for personal accounts as well

In the real world, the fakers also have friends inside the brands/companies. These hire them.

For those that only exist in Instagram, they are the ones doing shouts.

Herein the basic keyword for those that don’t exist in the real world, “shouts”.

Real world influencers, even those that fake it, will never do shouts. If they do, they’re even lower than fake influencers.

I know, I work for brands detecting the real from the fakes. I know the ins and outs.
