Hey everyone,

I’ve been reading a lot of articles online lately about controversy surrounding Facebook’s hijacking of thousands of Youtube videos and distributing out ad revenue to big pages etc. I’ve also noticed an abundance of videos on my timeline over the past couple months. I’m interested to see what others think/have accomplished with FB videos. I’ve listed a couple questions below, you can skip questions or summarize if you don’t want to answer some of them.

1. What are some solid places to find potentially viral videos (other than youtube)?

2. What kind of videos (category) have a greater likelihood of going viral?

3. How do you maximize audience reach and engagement? (short vs long, video caption naming, network of accounts sharing to groups, paid advertising?

4, How do you effectively monetize a video? (I’ve seen products linked, website link in description, and page comments with a product at top of comment section)

5. What products gross more revenue? (t-shirts, affiliate offers, etc?)

6. Any programs for videos to Facebook you would recommend? (I have Facedominator already but that doesn’t really help with extraction)

7. Overall success you’ve had and would you recommend looking further into building a relatively automated system?

Any advice would be helpful and much appreciated, thanks.

Just experiment.. what works for one individual might not work for you..so you gotta test, test and test some more..

Totally agree with you, my other systems have been researched information coupled with trial and error discovery. I was just hoping I could find some other members who could provide me with some initial insight. Also I asked the above questions to facilitate a discussion so others could learn about monetizing fb videos. I'm currently in the process of building my Pinterest and Twitter systems, so I was just trying to get an idea if fb videos were lucrative enough for me to invest substantial time in. Appreciate your reply and look forward to discussing various topics with you in the future.
