Facebook Update Will Target Specific Groups and Individuals

Facebook is taking new action to inhibit the spread of harmful content. The new restrictions begin by limiting the reach of groups and individuals, incrementally escalating to closing problematic groups and removing members who continue to violate Facebook’s rules and community standards.

Facebook is destroying himself lol

That's the thing with any Social Network, you can't be truly open or unregulated...and Facebook has been under extreme pressure these last few years to clean up it's platform. So they bring measures in that restrict or censor it's users...and could end up making the whole platform user un-friendly. Meantime they'll carry on charging a lot of dollars for advertising on their platform, whilst eliminating the audience.

this has been a long time coming, unfortunately when things like this come in to place they can actually do more harm than good and stop freedom of speech from people not inciting harmful things. Interesting to see how long this plays out for

facebook has been limiting a lot more stuff lately, getting really strict. ive had a lot of audiences decrease in size & some disappear completely. hopefully they stop making it more difficult for everyone!
