Linking now is not effective to increase traffic, because people are afraid of botnet. Unless your link is trustworthy, it will be very difficult.

maybe, but the interaction will be much less than the post on the timeline, if you want to increase interaction from this, then find trending community posts, and also accept that many people will give bad feedback about that link, because not everyone wants to have strange links on their posts

Nowadays, when scams happen more and more, people are afraid to click on strange links for fear that they are dirty links or accounts are hacked. So posting a link in your comment won't work

You can get more traffic when you create enough curiosity for people to click on the link, but those links will be banned.
