    Hey guys,

I have followed this board for a year and now its time for my first journey and decent posts. Actually my goal is to utilize facebook and try to make some money. Speaking of which, I will set my goal to $500USD per month as this will cover my living costs. I recently applied for business school and will start next month pursuing my masters. Of course the $500USD won't cover my tuition fees, that would be my next step/goal.

Why am I trying to make money online?
I have a bachelor degree in business and several years of experience in IT Management. I would be able to find an offline job easily and I have worked throughout my entire bachelor program, BUT that is not what I want to do during my masters for 2 reasons.

    1. I am tired of working for stupid bosses. I made good money in my last job but worked at least 80 hours per week (including University). That has worked for my bachelor degree but I highly doubt I can continue doing so during my masters.

    2. I want to be my own boss and manage my own time. I just want to be able to be more relaxed while studying without the stress of a full time job.

Thats so far for the background. Now, what exactly am I planning?

I created a Facebook Page last week in a very broad niche. Something I can provide decent knowledge for and something that allows me to create posts (with value) very easily. Also its a niche where users usually get feedback for.
My long term goal is to use this Facebook page as a traffic source to sell my own services for which I have to create a website soon.

    My actions so far:

    1. Created a FB page, incl. some images that I have created with canva (Nice and easy tool)

    2. Added and scheduled content. Right now I release around 3 posts every day. Every 4 hours or so and I have around 50 posts upcoming. Because I have a lot of time at the moment I create as much content as I can. Still need to figure out how many posts I should release every day? Any Ideas? Posting too much might be considered as too aggressive by some audience?

    3.
Created some FB private accounts, added some related groups and shared my posts. I am doing this step by step now, because my first account already got supsended for 2 weeks. This got me around 10 likes every day

    4. When I reached 50 likes, I noticed that I suddenly got A LOT of new likes and shares - so I found out that another Facebook page with around 500k likes posted and shared one of my first posts. Which increased my page like to ~600 likes. That was yesterday and I still get good amount of traffic from this page.

My stats as of this very moment:

    Page likes: 643
    Posts: 25
    Post reach this week: ~80,000

    Next steps:

    1. Creating more content/posts
    2. Starting setting up a new website, any ideas for some hosting? I wanna use wordpress, maybe buy a good template from themeforest...
    3. Writing articles for the website targetting some long tail KW.

Thanks for reading and drop me a message/comment if you have questions and advice. As I said I am new to this stuff so every advice is appreciated.

    BR

Good luck! But I think you must try paid ads to bring quality and more likes. Try with some good image and test with some nice texts.

Thanks. Yes, I definitely need more likes on my page. I might try fb ads soon and target ppl near my location, maybe I can sell them my service offline.
