I recently replaced my blogspot blog's commenting system with Facebook comments. It's too early to see an impact yet but I'm wondering if this has helped anyone else's SEO or traffic over the default Google+?

According, to the survey FB is the biggest social networking with the largest number of users. Peoples tends to use FB than G+. When it comes to FB or G+ then , Definitely +1 for FB
 
Facebook is largest social networking community you will get a good response in that but you have to wait for a while.
 
Google+ commenting system is only available to the blog authors who have upgraded their Blogger profile to Google+. I don't think, it will help you much to drive traffic.

And Facebook commenting system is also a great commenting system. But make sure, you have huge Facebook fans for better results. If you have less fans, it will also not be a profitable one.

I found beneficial when you comment of well known companies google and facebook page. Although they do not drive that much traffic but if you stick to it then there is a good chunks of traffic can be driven.
 
That's good idea.
You need to wait for impact, sure you will get.
 
In facebook, the comments do not appear to be indexable. If you want to index the facebook comment, using a plugin which converts the facebook comment into wordpress comment. So the comments will be indexable by Google.
 
You might be wrong. Mattcutts says, Google bot keeps getting smarter and it has the ability to index some dynamic comments.

Facebook is a large social media networking site but there are a lot of fake accounts of people. So, I think Google is more reliable because there are a lot of people that are active and real than Facbook.
 
I tried already , google doesn't index facebook comments.
