Facebook group posting

hello guys,

I have a fan page for my business. Unfortunately, I can't join a group with my business name... Am I right?

What is the purpose if I join with my FB personal account with my real name. I opened up my facebook account primary for my business.

Any recommendations how I would use my personal account to market my business account. Or is their a way to post on my business account for groups.

This is what I do...

Have personal account
With said personal accounts join groups and participate
Have business page which people can "like"
On business page, share articles on money site
On Personal account, share the post from business page into the group

Get the right group at the right time and you can get 1000+ visits to your money site within 3 hours.

Only to elaborate:

You can also post a link to your business page as the last item on your personal page. Afterwards, interact with group members by liking their posts, replying to questions, or etc. Many people will be curious who you are, and visit your profile. There, they will see your latest link. Sort of an indirect method, but seems to have some results.

Awesome! For my personal page I just have a niche specific logo without my face. Is it fine if I don't have many friends, no pictures of me or my family etc.? I do have a "real" facebook page with family and friends but I don't want to go that route and show everyone what I do with different niches... that's weird for me haha. I know a lot of IM that are successful have there real life style on their personal page and they sell IM products. Thank you - Tara

Thanks! Where can I post my business page on my personal page? Do you mean when I share content from my business page to my personal page then I share with group they see my business page? Thanks

Well, I have the privacy settings ramped up so only people whom I add to a group can see anything other than my name and picture of my real profile.

What groups I'm in is hidden from anyone trying to find out. I think the key is getting yourself known in the group as someone who contributes, people seem to "trust" your shares a lot more then.

Oh nice! I can hide my personal account and just have groups seeing my personal accounts? Thanks

Pretty much! Make a custom group in privacy, there's a few there by default anyway like Family, co workers etc..

Add people to those groups and you can restrict different parts of your profile.

I restrict everything to everyone, unless they are a member of my "see all" group.. Which pretty much consists of the people I actually speak to or know

How do you set your personal FB page to just have groups see your page and timeline? I know you can do friends and friends of friends. Never heard changing your personal account to have ONLY FB groups seeing your timeline, profile etc. Can someone prove me wrong?

Friends and friends of friends are just default groups that facebook created.

I participate in groups with my personal account, by sharing posts from my FB business page. Be sure your business page posts don't look spammy. I post a lot of cute and inspirational memes, with links to my sites, my informational You Tube videos, as well as interesting posts from my websites that relate to the group topics. I use Buffer to autopost, schedule up to 200 posts for both personal and business, then just check in and share once or twice a day from my tablet. BTW I've had a surprising increase in Amazon affiliate income, by sharing links to groups. Once again, make sure it's all related to the group topic, interesting, and not spammy.

Simply spreading your business page links after you join in any groups. But according to me, such kind of promotion will not bring decent result, instead you should start running some ads.
