Facebook affiliate ads

I got approved for Melodics affiliate program by applying through my Instagram which is music related. Melodics is running a subscription based service where one month would be 30 dollars and a annual sub would be 12 dollars a month, out of that I would 30%.

Thus my newbish question, is affilate ads a viable option on FB ads?

FB is not a fan of subscription based models. Are you a newbie regarding "never touched the ad manager, but read a lot" or you brand brand new?
If you read enough it's viable, even if you have never touched the ad manager.

But if you don't understand what FB likes and doesnt like I would start off with this campaign.

I agree with @stickupkid it is unlikely to work, you are best doing something like viral giveaways targeted at music.
