I am still choosing and using manual campaign setup because it allows for more detailed control and better features and campaign optimization.
That's right, that's the choice of long-time advertisers

i think it depends on the campaign, not always. we should still test both to compare performance, then leave the campaign that is more effective
That's right, if you are a long-time advertiser, you should use the manual installation method, use both methods in parallel

A lot of cool features.and if you are a long-time advertiser you should use manual installation

Yes. if you set up the campaign manually it is better than automatic. it will be more detailed and accurate.

I think setting up a Facebook ad campaign manually often gives you more control than automated suggestions. However, in the long run, automation can be more effective because of the ability to update quickly and continuously. We are still using the manual method for now. Perhaps we should test the same campaign side by side with both manual and automated settings to compare real-world performance.

- Advantage+ sales is the new name for the Advantage+ Shopping Campaign (ASC)
- New feature update: Advantage+ leads campaigns
- Manual campaign features are still available in this new setup
- You'll see "Advantage+" in the upper right corner is On. This means you're automatically enrolled in Meta's performance optimization features.
- If you narrow your budget, audience, or placements too much, you'll see Advantage+ disabled in that section. This means you're no longer creating an Advantage+ campaign.
- Create ad creative as usual. You can add more Advantage+ features to improve performance, like Advantage+ Creative and Advantage+ Catalogue Ads.

Have you tried it and found which one works better?

I've also tried Advantage+ and got cheaper bid results, but the overall results were lower compared to manual setup. You guys can try it.

I am working on both ways but I am leaning towards manual setting because I can easily control everything

You can choose manual or automatic campaign depending on your needs for simple and frequently changing campaigns you need to have automatic updates that is a good method. But if the campaign still asks for details and fixes other goals I clearly You should do it manually

Those still depend on the goal and the audience. I think we need to be flexible to create the most effective ads :)

We always advise our clients to run manual campaigns; at the same time, limit automated campaigns. Because manual campaigns help highlight campaign features and options are also prioritized, so it is more effective than automated campaigns.
