Ethereum price

That's like a stock split. It'll immediately split he price in half.
There are small chances for a fork, what you see now are just news and rumos to low the price and someone with huge amount of $$$ to buy cheap BTC, you will see BTC again at 1200-1300$ pretty soon .

i have 2 gaming computer and i want to mining ethereum. But i dont know how to do it

Using a Regular/Gaming Laptop computer’s CPU to mine with will work but not for all coins and it is nowhere near as effective as if you decide to buy equipment that is made to help you mine coins faster.
Incase of ethereum, you cannot mine it through CPU or Gaming Laptop

Sure but that's just speculation. But the fact is if something suddenly splits the rules of the market says prices split as well unless you have totally unreal prices.

If we get away with it halving in value then we get off lightly IMO - could be a lot worse if confidence in btc is lost.
I still maintain you should not keep you balance on an exchange as you are at their mercy on what they decide to do with your coins.

Anyway, this thread is about ETH which has already forked and seems to have survived ok. But it is over valued I think but Im not confident enough of that to try and short it so just going to hold and wait and see. Although If it drops to low $30's I might be tempted again.

Funny how ETH seems to be contrarian to BTC. The charts seem like inverses, which probably means the money flows from BTC to ETH and back.

Yep. Check the etherium chart for when the bitcoin etf was rejected. Before that news on friday 11th march it was less than $20. I was on poloniex at the time of the announcement and the ETH order book went crazy! I sold a lot of my eth that I bought around $13 for some cheap bitcoin that weekend :)

Is poloniex safe? I might start trading ETH.

Pretty good I think. Make sure you got two factor authentication setup and email confirmation of withdrawls. I also use gdax for eth/btc in the past as its easy to buy eth with card on coinbase and transfer for free. Also if you do "limit" trades on gdax theres no fee's

I bought only 10 Ethereum at 5$
I still think cryptocurrencies are the best investment and the only one which I would recommend to a friend

If you guys check volume of the past month you can see people are pushing the prices by trading.24h Volume of BTC was some months ago arround $20 million and the second coin arround $1-2 million.Check now the trading volume
$300-400 million for btc and $100-150 million for ETH

Volumes are absurd lately. Match some large stock markets.

If you hold any ETH i would advise that you hold it for the long term, may be tempting to sell now, but if you are happy to hold onto it or invest in long term i would definately do so. Reason for this is that IBM are leading the development on a project called Hyper Ledger, which will speed up the process of commercialising Crypto on a major level. Whilst BTC is a main player, there has been a huge focus on ETH.....IBM, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Deloitte and R3 amongst others are investing millions into the development of commercial software for ETH. Other major banks around the world such as RBS has of spoken of their interest in ETH....rather than BTC. Search JP Morgans 'Quorum'.

I work for one of the companies mentioned above and i can safely say there is 95% that ETH is going to become a massive crypto to be used commercially world wide!

I usually don't reply to threads on BHW anymore. But this is completely wrong and inaccurate and I don't want people to lose their money needlessly.

The IBM's hyperledger is not "developed for ETH", or any other cryptocurrency for that matter. The hyperledger aims to make blockchain cryptocurrency obsolete.

Please, check out the hyperledger website before making any cryptocurrency investments based off this advice.

Nice to see someone able to use information correctly.I said many times all current traded cryptocurrencies are going to die once the governments are going to implement their own blockchain which is being created by big companies IBM/Visa .
However i belive it will go strongly up before it will go completly down.
It will rise quickly in the beginning of may

I can understand why you dont really reply to threads anymore on BHW, because you clearly dont read clearly and jump ahead on your thoughts without the research.

First of all i never stated that Hyperledger was specifically developed for ETH, as you quoted. I stated "IBM are leading the development on a project called Hyper Ledger, which will speed up the process of commercialising Crypto on a major level", which is very much true. Secondly Hyperledgers purpose is not to make BTC and ETH (amongst other cryptos) "obsolete", but instead to offer an alternative blockchain technology with enhanced features, which could then be more favourable on a commercial level.

You dont want people to lose money? Well you should also offer your advice to;

Accenture Plc, Banco Santander, BP Plc, Credit Suisse Group AG, UBS Group AG, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, ING Groep NV, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Bank of New York Mellon Corp, RBS, Thomson Reuters Corp and many many many more as all these companies are investing millions into ETH and the technologies to commercialise ETH.

The whole point of the matter, is regardless of if it is Hyperledger, BTC or ETH there are companies out there investing in each of these cryptos (or blockchain technologies) to commercialise it, its a race to market with huge potential for reward. Why else you think crypto price and blockchain tech research companies stocks are sky rocketing?

I suggest you put a pause back on replying to BHW threads until you learn not to slam people contributions without doing your due diligence.

Only positive i can see from your post reply is that i totally agree people should do a little research before making any investments.
