EMD - Case Study

ahhhhhh I wish I saw this about 5 hours ago! I did around 20 manual and relevant comments..damn it took a long time LOL, anyways thank you so much. I will keep commenting, I just used a name like John and then the link to my site.

Using Website Name was a great idea..damn! thank you so much!

Domain TLD has no effect on ranking in my experience, unless your trying to rank a .com.au in USA for example

This is what works at the moment :)

So you need more experience mate :)

One new article. Social accounts are ready but no updates on them for now.

How about your domain?

Still waiting for my site to be built, think its nearly done now.
Based on what I have read from your posts here, I am going to order some content straight away - then schedule it to be published on the site gradually.
Then I will select a few good services (seeing as I dont do much SEO myself) and order them over a period of time, also Im going to try your tactic and use more long tail and generic anchors for the backlinks and Ill have my main keyword mentioned within the anchors, but will not use my keyword on its own - this just sounds like a good tactic to keep everything looking really natural.

I think I have a really good keyword as well - I know its a buying keyword and also reasonable amount of searches, and it has a perfectly matched product I can sell.

I have a few other sites on order as well, and when I have the budget, may take up your services to rank one of those.

I stick only to .com/.net/.org I've tried many other TLDs last 2 years. No luck and solid results.

About quality articles. As long as you ask for samples and offer $20-50 you will get HQ most times.

I have a team of good writers but when we are busy with clients I use hirewriters.com and several other similar platforms. I like what http://www.moneysitecontent.com has to offer too. Here is their BST It is service by IamNRE

Thanks

I use website name, websitename.co, general names, anchors which fits the blog and do not look spammy. Comments should be very very relevant.

I think the most I would pay for a 500 word article would be $20. any more than that, and it would get really expensive, but I guess it depends on the niche and what you are expecting back in revenue.

I am not sure if it is a good idea to try cheap services on your new domain. I can offer you some components of our services for a good start. Contact me for more details.

$20 for 500 words will do for most niches.

I didnt mean cheap services. Basically I have a list of providers here that I have had good results with.

Anyway, once I get the domain, I will contact you to discuss.

My bad. Lets say the best for your buck :)

danailo, I took your advice. Went back to all the blogs again and started posting relevant blog comments with the name as, 'Site.net' and waiting for them to hopefully become approved. The comments I wrote yesterday were all approved under a fake name..but hopefully they will be approved with this as the name.

Thanks for your help! I was wondering, after they are approved do you immediately ping them or do you want for Google to naturally find them? I guess since you are ranking so quickly you ping them right?

No, I don't ping my backlinks. It is not 2009 :) Google cralws often, fast and deep now.

A few strong related backlinks added today (blog comments). PR 4-3, OBLs 1-2.

Social accounts are ready and working (at least one post daily) FB, TW, G+. New 700 word long HQ article.

Google analytics installed because in some states the domain is #10

What sort of following do you have on those accounts? Do you let them build naturally or you buy followers ?

My site is ready now by the way.

I have ordered some articles, and will start some link building next week.

Debating whether or not to start my own thread, but maybe not.

Interesting stuff, good lunch break read. Thanks for the contribution! :)

I like how you steadily do the work, not rushing.
Do you think it's better not to generate a bunch of backlinks on the start, even if they are coming from good PR sites?

would like to see where this goes, subscribed

Wow great Info on this thread I am following....

I got a site with no exact match domain and I managed to get great results faster so I want to see how your experiment turns out

Natural and will try to keep it that way.

That is good only for large projects with a lot of capital and media coverage.

Will you attract TW and FB traffic also or SEO only?
Yes because social traffic helps for organic rankings.

Thanks for the case study, I'll be following it! :)
