EIN taking forever

Hello Everybody,

About a month ago, I created an LLC in the USA through an online service.

I also paid extra so they can handle the EIN creation for me.

Now, I have to file for the BOIR report, which requires an EIN.

I'm wondering if there is a quick way to check directly from the IRS if they already have my EIN ready?

Any help on this regard would be very much appreciated.

I got this within 2 weeks of creating my LLC. How long ago did you create the LLC?
 
The best way to check is to call the IRS office on your mobile phone.

Give them all your details and they will check it for you.

About 1 month ago. Are you a non-us resident?

Oh man, that sounds terrific. Can a non-us resident apply online? What I don't understand, how come the third party services takes so much time to get the EIN, i mean don't they do the same process by filing directly through the IRS?

I'm not certain about non-residents but I can't see why not considering you can get an EIN either way.

They take so much time because if they did it quickly, you wouldn't pay them for the service. They have to make it seem harder than it actually is if they want to make money. TBH, even the LLC itself you can do online for just the state fees; the entire "we incorporate your business" market is basically a scam. They just make it seem hard so you pay them, but they're not doing a single thing you can't do yourself just as easy and often faster.

Its usually take 2 weeks to get delivered to your home anywhere in the world

You should contact the person who applied for it because EIN take upto 4 days to register and if you just need online form then 4 days is enough for that to get it no matter what
 
Ok. This is how I form my US LLC as a non-US citizen.

I also paid Northwest for company formation. Northwest filed my case and I received the confirmation document in 2 days.

Then, I tried to apply for EIN myself by fax but no reply to my US fax number after 2 weeks.

I paid someone $20 to apply EIN for me from Fiverr and I got my EIN number in 4 days.

Now, I just applied Mercury Bank and waiting for approval.

Rejected my application without reason. I am thinking if open a bank account is very necessary because I will apply Wise and then Stripe for receiving money on my websites. Any suggestion? Thanks!

Non-resident here, formed over 50 entities. Sometimes these things get stuck- if you call IRS every work day (yes, be preapred for 2+ hours holding time), then for some reason EIN will be generated in a week.:)
