Hey
I want suggestions from experts before taking action on my client's e-commerce website
He is running e-com business in India and the USA, but he has 3 different sites .in, .com, .us. All sites have the same content they are using href lang to avoid duplicate content.
They are redirecting users if anyone opens.in in the USA on .com site, on which they have an inquiry form to collect user requirements for bulk orders. But they have .US site also on which they do retail business in the USA and .IN for retail business in India.
They have thousands of out-of-stock products and 30+ unnecessary categories. 50+ of low-value blog posts, mixing of categories.
Is this way is Good?
Here are the steps I want to take
I want to use only 1 domain like.COM, and show its versions like .com/en=us or en=in etc, but the domain remains the same. (But checking the user IP every time hampers the loading speed of the site or we can use pop like you are using a site in the USA do you want its version etc?)
Delete or No Index on out-of-stock products ( I want to delete them as they affect the loading speed of category pages like they call every product from their subcategories to the main category page.)
I want to delete all irrelevant pages or posts and create a new one that is connected to product information, how to use, how to clean, how to maintain, lifespan, types of products, etc
Want to delete all irrelevant categories too
Please suggest Your ideas
