I had over 200 articles written for my website. The articles are 100% unique and are working good on getting my site traffic. I'm starting a new website in the same niche and I would like to re-use the same articles. I've done about 50 posts so far with the same articles, my site and blog which is integrated are both a PR4 and some of the articles have already ranked PR 1-2.

Is this safe? Will Google penalize my original site if it finds these articles on new site? I slightly change the titles when posting but the content is the same from the original site. I also like to use the articles to build the keywords associated with my site.

I know there are sites out there with content that has been duplicated far more then twice. Any suggestions and opinions are appreciated.

They won't penalize your original website. However, your clone website could.

Simple and to the point.

There is NO such thing as a duplicate content filter.

The most relative site with the article will win.

It is that simple. If you can change it up and make it relative in a different way, well then you have multi-purposed the article successfully and both sites will win depending on the search.

I hope that helps.

FYI, If they are on different C class ips, it is very possible they both show up 1 and 2. Sometimes that can occur if the competition is low even if they are hosted within the same account.

They are on different IP addresses but not on different C blocks. The addresses are only 5 IPs apart. I hope they can both rank well. I've tried The Best Spinner on the 2nd site but the results weren't too great and re-writting would take a good deal of time. I guess my main concern was penalization for the 1st site... but if neither site will be penalized I should be O.K.
