dropshipping legality and taxes

Hey people,

I have a few questions for you because i didn't find any enlightening info through the internet.

First of all i am planning to set up an ecommerce site and start dropshipping from aliexpress.

I am a Cypriot citizen but I've been living in Greece for 5 years. I have a bank account in Cyprus anyway, so my paypal account is connected to that.

How i will make my ecommerce store legal? Do i need to pay any taxes in Greece since i live here? our just in Cyprus?

And what if i don't pay any taxes? I will be illegal?

Well if you will be accepting payments to your paypal, your bank will start asking you where all that money is coming from, you would have to show them proof. I dont think you would be paying tax in greece, but im sure you will have to pay it in cyprus

It's best to consult a CPA on this. In the US, if the package is not sent from your home state then there is no tax _Yet_.

You'll pay taxes in Cyprus usually unless Greece has a treaty with them

Your customer will pay customs on his own destination.
