I have been gone from the internet marketing and SEO game for 3 years or so. Just now finally starting to get my feet wet again. So far I have noticed that most of my pages once they get indexed they seem to stay in their place on Google days and weeks following their index. But a few days ago after indexing a couple new pages I noticed they totally disappeared from the search results, they still show as indexed in Google, but no matter what their exact search is the pages do not show up in results like the sandbox affect. Is this common to happen still in 2023 ? and how long can I expect this before they appear again in search results ? These are parasite type pages too by the way so I did not expect to see that so much with them.

Parasite type pages? Parasites are usually built on aged platforms with authority. Way past the time any sandbox (if that's a thing, evaluation period is more apt) would be effective.

No, they don't get sandboxed anymore,
The domains simply get penalized and it's even harder to get it sorted out

As per my experience, they do. But the time period is around 3-4 months now.

It's only been a few days but seems odd those couple pages are missing like that, but others indexed and stuck in the same spot. I would not imagine a parasite to move like that ? Especially considering a few of the other pages on same parasite in same niche and competition are still exactly the same for me and normal.

Yes, it will probably be around for a long time
Even aged domains encounter sandbox effects along the way

Today I noticed one my my new indexed parasite pages after a couple days of being indexed is now showing as not-indexed on Google is that normal ? The other pages I mentioned before, once they were indexed they never showed as not-indexed they just did not show up in keyword searches after a point. At least for now.

There is no such thing called Google sandbox, there never was.
It's an excuse for people who don't know what they're doing.

So how long can it take for a parasite page in today's Google state to get placed in it's "final" position on the search results ? (i'm talking about no backlinks involved)
