Does the Cloud hosting Affect SEO Rankings

Use to be is you target US audience you host the site with a hosting company in the US

For example i am a Canadian living in Canada but my target market is US so I host my site where the servers are in the US to get faster rankings in US search engine instead of canadian version

With the cloud does it matter or affect changes to your target market?

I believe OP is referring to cloud hosting not tag clouds.

I don't think cloud hosting would effect SEO on a geo targeting level. It may help with your rankings if it gives your site faster loading times.
