    Hello all,

This is my first post here and I'm pretty new to all of this so any help would be really appreciated.

I am using direct links on my website (with propeller ads) and I'm using a variety of traffic exchanges to send traffic using a shortened google link for tracking purposes.

I've already geo-targeted my traffic to match the highest CPM rate countries that propeller ads showed on the revenue breakdown page.

My question is this: does the referrer website have an impact on CPM rate?

So, would it make a difference to the CPM rate if the majority of my traffic was direct, from search engines or social media for example...

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

    Cheers!

It wouldn't directly or initially have an impact.

However, if the quality of the traffic you're getting is low, eventually advertisers will start blacklisting your website. Of course, this means your eCPM's would decline as less advertisers are bidding for your traffic.
