Does Quora not like any link?

Hi, someone asked how to start making money online and I wrote 248 words detailed article and at the middle, I put the link to my landing page (not directly to the Clickbank offer) to collect email like this:

This is a step by step guide for newbies to start making money online. Then, I wrote three to four lines on taking action and staying consistent on it.

So, what I did was:
1) I wrote a long 248 words detailed step by step article on how to choose offers from clickbank.com and peerfly.com. I directly put http://www.clickbank.com and http://www.peerfly.com

2) Wrote the line - This is a step by step guide for newbies to start making money online and embed the link to the landing page.

So, despite providing a detailed step by step info before putting a link, why do you quora delete my answer? I didn't just put the link and vanished. Also, I put the link to my landing page and not directly to the ClickBank offer. Do you think they deleted because I wrote http://www.clickbank.com and http://www.peerfly.com?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

They have some filters to prevent spam. and yes, quora or any other site consider any social media, not like external links as it make users leave the platform. but that not means they will delete your post/answer, they just limit the reach.

as you said you have used that site's name, they may have some filters in the algorithm for popular affiliate platform and removed your post because of that. it just their effort to keep platform clean.

It's possible the answer was reported. I'm an avid Quora user and people there appear to be more savvy than Yahoo Answer users were back in the day, where you could get away with something like that - and clickbank bizopps stick out like a sore thumb.

It could be the affiliate networks you linked to as well. The only way to know is testing again without those links and see if it sticks.

They can remove answers if someone reported the answer. The community is pretty strong and members monitor quality of the answers. An affiliate might have come across as spammy to them.

The link was of a landing page to collect email and not directly to the product page. I think they removed coz of the word clickbank?

Hi guys, if you are from European, american or from middle eastern countries then do not worry. indian, pakistani and filipino moderators will never dare to remove your link. They remove south Asian countries people link with each other, even the text content is top quality. Not only on Quora, lot of indian, pakistani and filipino moderators still doing job on investing.com as a moderators. Those moderators are promoting their stupid link but removing people link.

Lol, didn't even know such website existed because this was just a simple username I came across from a video game I think. Can't remember which game tho but I'm happy with my username and we can't change usernames. I think we need to upgrade to pro membership for that.
