Hi everyone,
I have been working on a small blog recently and trying to stay consistent with content.
But I am starting to feel a bit confused.
Earlier, the advice was simple publish more articles, cover more keywords, and traffic will grow over time.
But now it feels like just adding more content does not really move the needle.
Some things I am noticing:
I would really like to hear how others are approaching this in 2026.

But now it feels like just adding more content does not really move the needle.
Some things I am noticing:
- New posts take a long time to get indexed or ranked
- Even after publishing consistently, traffic is very slow
- Some older posts don’t move even after updates
- Using stronger link building
- Building authority faster
- Leveraging expired domains or other methods
- Is content volume still important, or is authority the main factor now?
- At what point does publishing more become ineffective without backlinks?
- For beginners, should the focus be on content first or authority first?
I would really like to hear how others are approaching this in 2026.
