Does Parasite SEO work in 2024?

Parasite SEO involves using high-authority websites to rank content quickly by placing content or backlinks on these sites. This method leverages the site's established authority to gain visibility and rankings.

I'm a software developer, that is just starting to look into the SEO world, this message really got me interested.
I tried to DM you but couldn't, I would like to bounce some ideas about auto blogging networks

Parasite seo is much better if you get a positive roi. For example if you buy a outlook post for 300 dollars and get 1000 dollars back from the article it's a plus but if it's 0 then you need to change your offer

I think I’ve already addressed this in another thread, but just to reiterate: not all of my 300+ sites are dominating on Google. In fact, around 100 to 120 of them have been hit by penalties due to Google’s constant updates. It’s just the nature of the game—consistency is key, but penalties happen regardless.

Whether I build blogs using AI, white-hat SEO, black-hat SEO, or drive traffic through platforms like Pinterest, GitHub, or para sites, I’ve come to accept that some sites will inevitably get hit. That said, over 200+ sites have been performing exceptionally well for years. My oldest site is even about to celebrate its 15th anniversary all build with tiered link building stratergy (3 simple tiers )


Now i am doing some automation on para site specifically as its cheaper and i can see some potential

reddit kind of google favor platform + tiered link building is my strategy for next 5 years. Right now learning automation with make.com

Can you explain more? Do you build links to every article? Just the homepage? Or how?

Building links to your own site? Or direct linking to affiliate offers?

Every link of the website that you need to rank, Never build backlinks only to home page unless its a single page website.

Tiered 3 means

Money site <<< Tier 1 ( high quality platforms like articles , web2.0s , forums , social networks , para sites )<< Tier 2 ( All the including Blog comments , directories ) <<<Tier 3 (Anything except exploits )

But thats me. The engines you going to use , manual and automation tools like ranker x , gsa is totally up to you.

No i don't blast directly on affiliate links. But i know people who do that with para sites. But i always like to be independent and most of the time i try rank my own assets as it costs so money to dominate .

Ok, so the para site pages you will make on reddit will just link to your 300 existing sites?
 
Lately I've been using Reddit as a brand mention parasite. Simply make a compelling comment then mention the brand clearly like with context and maybe even a brand.com just not hyperlinked and what will happen is people will Google your brand and find you and click through that way. You can even get clever like "Golf Shoes at golferbrandname" and people will search ur keyword with your brand name.

Then do best work to rank the reddit post or comment itself.

Still can't beat medium.com for parasite SEO. I don't know why bother even giving different parasites it's so good.

Should checkout smolagent for automation or cf workflows too. If it's simply just having AI writer up an article almost easier to just code it quick and smolagents you can practically just type in what it does and it makes the whole workflow and runs it. Pretty slick.

Does this help with E-E-A-T to rank the site in Google? I know people searching for the brand helps, but what about just having the brand mentioned on the Reddit comment/post - does Google trust your site more simply from seeing it mentioned?

Thanks mate ... Yeah i am aware about it. Currently i just automated with make.com as i am now using to it. Since i already setup my SEO content machine for GSA projects i could duplicate same with google excel sheets and make.com setup.
 
Parasite SEO still works, and it is possible to rank fast, especially by publishing content on authoritative sites. However, it is important to choose the right platforms as competition is increasing. Blogging is not dead, but it requires long-term investment. If you don't have money, it may make more sense to start with Parasite SEO, because it offers the chance to get fast traffic at low cost!
 
Para site been working for decades and now even google give more favour to new set of site specially. Simply can earn few bucks with just a sub reddit , github etc .

Throw some posts on choosen platform like reddit , quora etc and blast few thousand links with Rx , Gsa ser etc or buy some link packages ( i dont suggesting to buy instead its better to build yourself with tools )

My variation, for tiered linking: Each article on the money site should focus on a main keyword. Each article should have a 'cluster' of high authority links pointing to it, whether you call them parasites or not. There are free properties with over 75 DR/DA/AS ratings per url that one can use for this. A mini cluster of 4-5 such links serving a tier 1 for the article/kw, then can be linked to, on tier 2, by dozens of properties with good (if lesser) authority.

The impact of having many of these t2 properties pointing to the main authority links should be to help rank the kw up to the top 100 on the t1 pages, which in turn should help the kw on the money site rank even higher.
