Does Instagram allow smartlinks?

I have a small instagram account in pet niche. How can I promote my mainstream non adult mobidea smartlink without getting banned? Do I have to use linktree?

I was thinking on watermarking my video with a domain and then forwarding the domain to the smartlink. Will this work?
I don't wanna get my account banned.

Just dont use direct links. If you use a direct link, your page may get flagged. Use a landing page. Even if you are promoting models, thats fine, just use a landing page.

You will get banned
 
The best option is to use Linktree but only in allowed sections like your bio or stories. Otherwise, yes you could get restricted.
 
Landing Page is the best option, even if you use shortners like Linktree or Bitly, They will crawl that as well which makes no point at all.
 
Just as many others here have suggested, you should use a landing page for best results. I'd even take it a step further by adding an intermediate page a 'pre-lander' with a second call-to-action button that contains the smartlink. The logic is that bots will often only follow the first on-site click to check for redirects. By adding this extra step, the bot registers a safe internal link, while the user proceeds to the smartlink on the second click. Good luck!
 
Much as already been said, yeah, you can promote that without getting banned. Just as long as the funnel looks sufficiently legit and you don't do the usual things that get you flagged (spamming, obvious cloaking, botting, etc.)

Instagram doesn’t officially allow smartlinks, especially if they redirect to offers. Using a domain as a watermark and redirecting can work short-term, but it’s still risky. Linktree or custom landing pages with content in between are safer to avoid bans
