Has anyone tested this?

I wiped analytics and now I just keep track of the position of the word.
I have read that people have had a rank drop after placing Analytics.

some experiences?

Yes they do. They also use it to help rank other sites in your niche. But that's what you get for paying for the pro version 150k a year. :)

I do not believe they use Google Analytics in the ranking algorithm for different reasons:
1- Not every site has GA installed which means part of their scoring system if relaying on GA will be missing for millions of sites
2- There are some privacy issues, I know they do not care but they do not need badly to use it so they are respecting privacy
3- The already have more enough data using SERPs stats which they share it with you using GWT
4- Google charom is already provides them enough behavioural user data and it is in most cases better that GA

To my mind, they only use GA "global" datas to analyze behaviors on websites, and then, to improve their algorithms.
But I don't think Google can penalize a specific website because of its poor Bounce Rate on Google Analytics.

Maybe I'm wrong.. but since they do not have datas for every websites, I do not imagine they can penalize a website using GA only.

Google, with Chrome, can have a lot of free stats on every websites. So they would use this kind of data prior.
