as the title says, does big G index translated content?
lets say you scrape content and then translate it and make it readable . so can it be indexed ? and can it rank for that language's keyword?

The index rate is very bad nowadays for those contents, be prepare that.

yes. for fact i can tell you google does index translated content and even shows it as a serp result. just need to make sure it is a decent translation as generated by google translation tool.

Depends which google you targeting , for example google Malta will be more easier to work with if you use translated duplicate. Google US will be the most difficult engine to rank duplicate but still possible.

I translate with Microsoft, no human correction, all headlines mention that this is an automatic translation.
I am ranked (not very high though), but for 1000s of keywords.
So yes, Google obviously indexes it.

Google indexes any content and page unless you have excluded it.
