Does content length matters in SEO?

Think logically. The google bot tries to simulate human thoughts. As a human, what is going to bring you more satisfaction - a longer article containing everything regarding a specific topic or just an article with useless information at all and spunned to infinity?

Content length matter if you dont overfill your text with nonsense and too many connectors. If you write a 3000 word article giving people what they want, writing for them not for google, and clearly answering every single question the might have, then you give it a slight SEO layer and you will surely rank on the top soon

It all depends on the value that you serve to the audience. But yes, if your content is in depth and interesting to read with lots of references and media then it will surely get good response.

Also forgot to say, but adding rich snippets will most likely improve rankings if your conpetitors dont use tjem.

Embedding some videos and images will also make the article more readable for your audience, since too much text scares people away

I feel havining a minimum standard length of content pieces with minimum length of around 400 words should be sufficient, other factors later come into picture like the likability, readability and the kind of value the article adds.

articles length with quality will works good

I think there's something about it that matters. I would aim to make my articles slightly longer and more detailed than the articles ranking 1-3.
