I would like to buy a domain name and hosting. Am from India,so most of the big sellers don't support Indian cards. I know godaddy, hostgator and namecheap support Indian cards.

I also want a hosing account (affordable and quality service).

Suggestions welcome :)

Namecheap, internet.bs and Namesilo are my trusted domain registrars. Not the cheapest ones in the world, but their support and quality is amazing.

InMotion and PowerUp are the two hosting companies whose shared hosting I can actually recommend, since I have had really good experiences with both. PowerUp is offering a promotion for BHW members on their BST thread show might want to check that out. I'm not affiliated with either, just a satisfied customer.

Namecheap I've heard good things about their hosting, only have one site on their servers, which was the 7$ for a year birthday deal, but not really using it. Their support is always there for you though, so on those basis I can recommend them as well.

And steer away from Hostgator and GoDaddy. Especially GoDaddy. They are a real pain in the bum to deal with.

Edit: Just remembered, seeing as you want both domain and hosting, do remember that the best option is not always to get them from the same place. For example Namecheap and the other domain registrants are easier to deal with directly, and you will know the prices of the domains upfront. There have been threads around BHW about Bluehost (to my best recollection) at least charging massive sums for domain renewals after the first year, so be careful.

I use godaddy or bigrock for my domains. Both accept Indian debit cards with netbanking as well. For hosting, currently using hostrs.com .. It's an Indian company based in New Delhi.

Waiting for more suggestions :) . Lost connection I owe you one for the help.

Check if namecheap still accepts BIRTHDAY coupon, it brought a huge discount on their hosting package.

They already let that one go unfortunately. It was the 7$ per year for the cheapest shared hosting, right?

The one for October (20% off according to their site), is FALLY

Worth a try though.

I heard for a reliable source thats the hosting companies give coupons for filling up their almost filled servers. These servers have more than 150 sites hosted in them....

Not gonna comment on how many sites per server, because the servers can vary in specs so heavily and the hosting packages offered differ.

But what I do know, is that Namecheap offers coupongs monthly (as do many others for that matter), so it's not just the case of "when we need to fill up servers", but of course, this is business for them, so there is always a reason as to why offer coupons.

I checked name cheap Rs 1258($20) for a year for professional plan in shared hosting. The coupon code BIRTHDAY not working.

I use domain india for domain .
Don't go with godaddy or big rock unless you've have a promo code that will get you whois under budget Or else prepared to get email and call for website services and hosting.
For hosting you can choose any website if you have a HDFC/ICICI card most of them would work with paypal.
I guess you should give a try to adding cards to paypal first at it will ease your process and save a lot of money.
