Diversifying my Traffic, Building a Traffic Empire

So recently, I was getting all my traffic mostly from one forum. Pretty good traffic too. I was making about $750-$1,000/month just from answering questions on this forum

Everything was going really well. Then, the forum hires new moderators that decide to ban me.

Suddenly my income goes from $1,000/month to $450/month.

Luckily I'm still in college so I don't really have much expenses ($200-$300/month).

Just yesterday, I decided I'm going to build a traffic empire.

No more relying on one source of income, I'm going to kick my site into high gear.

Here a few things that I'm going to do over the next month to diversity my site's traffic.

Social Media:
1. Creating a Pinterest network that reshares each other's pins.
Current Pinterest Traffic: 50/day Goal: 200/day

2. Creating 3-5 more Instagram accounts with following/unfollow
Current Insta Traffic: 30/day Goal: 100/day

3. Going to post 5 times per day on Reddit.
Average visitors per post: 15

SEO:
1. Creating a small PBN. (3-5 sites)
2. Doubling amount of weekly web 2.0s
3. Guest posting once a week.
4. Writing 1,500 word articles twice a week.
Current SEO Traffic: 10-15/day Goal: 100/day

The goals are for the Jan 1st, 2019.

I'm ready to take my site to the next level.

I do have finals in 3 weeks so I'm going to be moving a little slower until then only working on these points 3-4 hours a day but after finals, I'm going to go full force till the end of the year.

Consider doing this besides driving traffic. You can let your audience log in to your site by using their social media accounts, that should increase your retention rate.

Diversification is a very important principle to learn not just in business but just in general personal finance. So many people were dependent on just once source of income, and that's why when economic collapses like what happened in 2008 most consumers are hit so hard. They depend on one stream of income and when that stream dries up, they're left high and dry.
