Directory Submissions (Off - Page SEO)

How would it affect the SEO if I give backlinks to separate pages of the website through directory submissions?

For instance, submitting www.example.com/cheap-flights on the keyword Cheap Flights.
and www.example.com/luxury-flights on the keyword Luxury Flights.

I have read it before that, you shouldn't submit separate pages to web directories and just the domain name on its main keyword.

For example, submitting www.example.com on Flight Tickets.

First of All, If you try to submit internal pages of same domain it will show site already exist.

Secondly, Why Directory Submissions? It is not 2010.

And they do help with diversity but as an anchor SEO product you won't get much benefit.

Coupled with more of quick exposure to your audience in need of your service.

Quick cheap way of parasiting on good Authority local directories ....

It would be great to have inner page links on the homepage and build backlinks for your homepage URL with any keyword which point to the homepage.

Do it main domain only , and forget. it's just for diversity of backlinks.
