Different SERP position results - WTF??

This is the most frustrating thing for me as well. Makes it defetes the purpose if I only "think" i'm on page one! Google webmaster tools says I'm on page two for the term "internet marketing" but the other day I got dumped out of the top 1000 results for some reason. Took two days to get back to page 3, now I'm getting different results from different sources ranging from 17 to 23 yet stopped getting ANY traffic from google for that keyword. Unfortunately like Awayler said my competition stays pretty much the same.

On a side note (take this as a warning) I swithced my geo focus from global to US thinking it would help me. Now in Canada (where I'm located i've gone from page two to page.... we'll nowhere. I switched it back the way it was originally, but still haven't come back in three days. Don't know if i will or now.

Frustrating, but I guess just keep plugging away, doing what we do.
