But I have a idea on how he did it...
The odds of two same draws happening is very very very rare. (I can't remember the odds it was but it was extreamly unlikley)
So he would of had a record of all the previous draws... so everyone of them he would rule out. Then he would do a similar process of elimination to get rid of most of the others left such as which has appeared most etc... so then he is left with 5-10 combinations. So now comes the questions... what actually was on all of the balls was there maybe more than one number on each ball etc. But anyway we will see ey? Doubt that he will make up some bullshit explination that confuses us so much we have to believe.

Darren Brown is taking the piss. Instead of making sure all his numbers were facing us, ie, the viewers, it wasnt.
My guess is as the national lottery was read out, the balls were being numbered somehow or the show was pre recorded and it aint live.

There are two reasons to tell everybody rather than just buy lottery tickets (rather like there are two reasons to sell get-rich-quick schemes rather than get-rich-quick yourself). Either he can make more money in sales than he can by winning the lottery (a couple of million each time he got away with it) or he is unable to profit because he can't actually predict the numbers before ticket sales close.
